You have probably noticed coins at shows, auctions, and online that have a CAC label on them. This identifying sticker designates that a coin has met the quality standards set by Certified Acceptance Corporation, an independent group of well-respected professional numismatists. Our experience at David Lawrence Rare Coins so far is that CAC verified coins are continuing to gain popularity and acceptance and are doing well at auction compared to similar coins without CAC verification. I normally talk to a dozen plus clients/collectors each day and one question that invariably comes up is; "Do you think coin collecting is a growing hobby?".
