Collectors are getting tired of hearing how there are now fresh coins out there...blah, blah, blah....
But it's really true.
We haven't seen anything like the regular flow of fresh coin collections coming from our clients in the last 18 months, like we had in years prior. It's hard to explain the phenomenon but collector's are keeping the prized numismatic holding close to their chests. Prices have come down across the board… Continued...

I'm just wrapping up a short trip to Berlin, Germany for a large International coin show, called the Berlin Money Fair. I really wanted to come here and witness the world coin market first-hand and feel the energy of collectors and dealers out of our country. The experience was worthwhile in many respects.

On a recent trip to Europe, I took a long layover opportunity to visit my friends at CAC. I did a little biz and went to lunch at this great little gem of a restaurant in Bedminster named "Twofiftytwo". The service was friendly, and the organic vegetables were a wonderful addition to the menu. Perfect for me as I'm a vegetarian, unlike my carnivorous lunch-host John

Well, it's just the Thursday evening of the show and JB (John Brush) and I are happy to report that we've survived this long... Ok, that sounds a bit facetious, but this has been one of the most frenzied show events in a long time.

2009 was one of those years that came in like a lamb but is going out like a lion. The majority of this year seemed to mirror the greater economy. Buyers were cautious and expected that prices would fall over the course of the year -- and they did. Not in all series, but prices generally followed a downward trends this year.
