After months of careful preparation, the Certified Acceptance Corp. (CAC) has unveiled a Population Register on its Internet Web site giving detailed information - at no charge - on certified coins it has examined.
The register encompasses all major types of federal U.S. coinage, but does not include Colonial coins or patterns. It lists the types and grades of coins - and the number of each - that CAC has… Continued...

Thanks to a thread on the Collectors Universe (PCGS) chat board, we've discovered a great reference page to a standard for Full Bell Franklins. DGS will use this standard as a basic for the criteria of assigning FBL Franklins. Continued...

Applications for membership in the Certified Acceptance Corp. (CAC) are now being accepted from full-time coin dealers, according to John Albanese, founder and president of the company.
“We feel we’ve successfully completed our rapid initial growth and we’re now growing more steadily,” Albanese said. “We’ve added extra staff and we’re ready to continue our robust development.”
