Coin Dealer Robbed While Unloading at Illinois Coin Show

Bloomington, Illinois police are investigating the robbery of coin dealer Frank Zapushek and the loss of over $65,000 in gold coins, peace dollars and cash. Mr. Zapushek was assaulted and two briefcases taken while unloading his vehicle at 6:45am March 28, 2009 at a local coin show. No suspects have been identified.
