This thread just started and offers some very interesting insights on CAC. I actually chimed in with a few comments…not something I’ve done very often. It was started based on a comment from Legend Numismatics Market Newsletter (always insightful, usually controversial).

I’ve been following this one for a few days on the PCGS Forum.

It was started by David Hall (Collectors Universe President/Founder) who goes by the handle HOMERUNHALL. He’s really trying to pump the new PCGS CoinFacts, which is a pay-for-information database of U.S. Coins. He mentions in his opening commentary the fact that he has never seen an authentic rainbow toned Peace dollar. Well, the thread eventually becomes hijacked into a discussion on premium toned coins — which ones are artificial or not…and gets a little heated. Enjoy.
